Terms of Service

Last updated: October 16, 2026.

These Terms of Service apply when you use GetBuiltBackend.com, request a Free AI Business Audit, purchase a starter workflow, or engage BuiltBackend for AI Agent, automation, integration, or related services.

Free AI Business Audit

The free audit is an initial business-process assessment. It may include suggestions about AI Agents, automations, integrations, or workflow improvements. It is not a guarantee that a requested solution is technically possible, appropriate, profitable, or available within a particular budget or timeline.

Your First Automated Workflow — $199 launch offer

The $199 offer covers one clearly defined starter-scope workflow using supported tools and reasonable implementation requirements. A workflow may include AI-assisted steps when appropriate. Larger autonomous AI Agents, multiple workflows, complex integrations, custom software development, large data migrations, advanced security requirements, or substantially expanded scope require a separate quote.

Before implementation begins, BuiltBackend may confirm or narrow the scope so both parties understand the intended trigger, actions, connected tools, and expected outcome.

Projects that do not fit the starter scope

If we determine before implementation that your request does not reasonably fit the $199 starter scope, we may offer a larger project quote. Unless otherwise agreed, you may choose either to apply the $199 payment as a credit toward the larger project or request a refund before custom implementation begins.

Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Payment is due as shown at checkout or in a written proposal. Because BuiltBackend services are customized, fees for work already performed or for a custom implementation that has begun may be non-refundable except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing. Third-party software, subscriptions, usage fees, messaging fees, API costs, and similar charges are the client’s responsibility unless expressly included in writing.

Client responsibilities

AI and automation limitations

AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, or unexpected outputs. Automations can fail because of changed APIs, third-party outages, permissions, account limits, software updates, data quality, or other factors outside BuiltBackend’s control. AI Agents and automations should not be treated as guaranteed replacements for human judgment in legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.

Third-party platforms

BuiltBackend may integrate third-party services such as payment processors, CRMs, email platforms, scheduling tools, AI providers, automation platforms, or APIs. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their outages, pricing changes, policy changes, account restrictions, or discontinued features.

Results and business outcomes

We aim to build useful systems, but we do not guarantee revenue, lead volume, conversion rates, cost savings, search rankings, advertising performance, or any other specific business result.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content, data, branding, and materials you provide. After full payment, you may use the custom deliverables created specifically for your business, subject to any third-party license terms. BuiltBackend retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, methods, reusable components, know-how, prompts, frameworks, and non-confidential tools used to create or support the deliverables.

Confidentiality and access

We will use reasonable care with non-public business information shared for a project. Clients should avoid sending credentials through ordinary email or public forms when a more secure method is available. Access may be removed after project completion unless ongoing support has been purchased.

Service changes and termination

We may decline or stop work that is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, technically infeasible, outside agreed scope, or dependent on access we cannot reasonably obtain. Either party may end an ongoing engagement according to any written project terms or support agreement.

Disclaimer and limitation

Services are provided on a commercially reasonable basis and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or guaranteed outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuiltBackend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the website or services. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded will be limited as permitted by applicable law.

Separate project terms

If a proposal, statement of work, invoice, or written agreement includes terms that conflict with these website Terms, the more specific written project terms will control for that project.
